The lodge provides internet for guests; however, due to our location, the signal may be unstable on some days and may not reach inside the rooms.
The Brazilian Ministry of Health recommends the yellow fever vaccine at least 10 days before traveling.
We do not offer overnight stays or day-use packages. We provide only all-inclusive packages starting from 2 nights.
We highly value our guests’ privacy, and our staff is fully dedicated to their needs. The lodge is open only to guests with confirmed reservations.
Our transfer service is provided by car or van, with an average duration of 2 hours.
An aerial transfer via seaplane is also available. Please inquire for details.
We focus on offering a complete program of exclusive activities aimed at absolute nature contemplation with minimal interference with the forest and river ecosystems.
Activities like visiting indigenous communities, swimming with dolphins, and touring the Meeting of the Waters are recommended to be done before or after your lodge stay.
For private tours in Manaus, please inquire.
At Alta Vista Lodge, we offer a unique excursion to the Meeting of the Waters between the Manacapuru and Solimões Rivers. While similar to the Manaus experience, it is on a smaller and more intimate scale.
Light-colored, breathable clothing (long-sleeve UV-protection shirts are recommended for excursions, as darker colors may attract more insects).
Other Questions (Under Development):
Do you accept children of all ages?
Yes, but please note that our river excursions are conducted on open boats to allow full immersion in nature. This can be tiring for children due to the intense sunlight.
What activities are included in the stay?
Is the lodge safe regarding animals and insects?
Yes, we adhere to strict safety standards. Measures are in place to protect against insects, and all tours are guided by experienced professionals who know how to avoid unwanted encounters with wildlife.
What are the communication and internet conditions?
Due to the remote jungle location, connectivity is limited. Wi-Fi is available in common areas, but speeds may vary. We encourage guests to take the opportunity to disconnect and enjoy the natural surroundings.
Does the lodge offer food options for dietary restrictions?
Yes! The lodge provides options for vegan and vegetarian diets.
What is the climate like, and what should I expect in terms of comfort?
The climate is warm and humid year-round, with more frequent rains between November and May. All rooms are designed to maximize natural ventilation; however, we do not offer air conditioning due to our location.
What are the cancellation and booking change policies?
We offer flexibility for changes made at least 7 days in advance without any fees. Cancellations are refundable according to the specified deadlines. We recommend reviewing the detailed policy at the time of booking.
