1. How can I book at Alta Vista Lodge?

2.Is there internet at the lodge?
The lodge provides internet for guests; however, due to our location, the signal may be unstable on some days and may not reach inside the rooms.
3. Do I need any vaccinations before visiting the Amazon?
The Brazilian Ministry of Health recommends the yellow fever vaccine at least 10 days before traveling.
4. Does the lodge offer overnight stays or day-use packages?
We do not offer overnight stays or day-use packages. We provide only all-inclusive packages starting from 2 nights.
5. Can I visit the lodge or book it for photo shoots?
We highly value our guests’ privacy, and our staff is fully dedicated to their needs. The lodge is open only to guests with confirmed reservations.
6. How are transfers to the lodge arranged?
Our transfer service is provided by car or van, with an average duration of 2 hours.
An aerial transfer via seaplane is also available. Please inquire for details.
7. Does the lodge offer tours to indigenous tribes, swimming with dolphins, or the Meeting of the Waters?
We focus on offering a complete program of exclusive activities aimed at absolute nature contemplation with minimal interference with the forest and river ecosystems.
Activities like visiting indigenous communities, swimming with dolphins, and touring the Meeting of the Waters are recommended to be done before or after your lodge stay.

At Alta Vista Lodge, we offer a unique excursion to the Meeting of the Waters between the Manacapuru and Solimões Rivers. While similar to the Manaus experience, it is on a smaller and more intimate scale.
8. What should I pack?
Light-colored, breathable clothing (long-sleeve UV-protection shirts are recommended for excursions, as darker colors may attract more insects).
- Hat or cap.
- Raincoat.
- Sunglasses.
- Swimwear.
- Flashlight.
- Sunscreen and mosquito repellent (prefer cream-based or citronella). Though close to the Amazon River, we are located by the acidic waters of the Manacapuru River, where there are fewer mosquitoes.
- If you are allergic to insect bites, don’t forget your anti-histamine or allergy medication for emergencies.
